There good be put more effort in describing the hotels unique location, both regarding the historic centre and the fabulous beaches, but also the location of Frejus regarding connections by bus and train toexplore the coast. Beyond that the descriptions are very good. ... I will highly recommend the hotel to a friend (and that we have already done to our friends)

Excellent first impression ... Exceeded our expectations, a five star experience ... I think directions for walking from the train station could be added. It is so close, literally around the corner, but it would help to state this. ... An oasis of tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of life. We didn't want to leave at the end of the week!

The hotel itself was very good in terms of quality. We ate there at night on a couple of occassions and the food was excellent even if a little expensive. The highlight for us was the excellent, clean, quiet swimming pool area which was a delight the spend the day relaxing. The staff were helpful but had limited english which we found a struggle at times as we had limited French. The beaches were further away than expected and we were a little disappointed with this. ... Frejus is a wonderful town with many places to dine out and beautiful scenery. It is also located very close to St Tropez, Cannes and about two hours from Monaco. We did'nt hire a to see these places as the Hotel L'Arena located fight next to the Train station and made it very easy for us to get around.

I am a paraplegic, confined to a wheelchair. The room specifically for disabled was excellent. However, I was looking forward to spending time in and around the small swimming pool. I was unable to do this as the access gate for me, was blocked at breakfast, lunch and dinner times my diners/tables during these mealtimes. Similarly I would have been unable to go swimming say at 11am (after breakfast) and return to room/toilet at say 1pm (during lunch). As such it made the swimming pool/garden area a virtual non-starter, even though we had paid for this facility, unless I restricted myself to the small window of times between setting up for various meal times. ... as per answer 10 - although I concede this will effect very few people. ... Practical, reasonable (although restaurant very pricey), well located for a base from which to tour many parts of Cote D'Azur.

Lovely property in the best location in Frejus. Good access to shops, market and restaurants. Good rail and bus links very close to the hotel. The beach is quite a long walk away but you can catch the bus. Historical sites nearby. The restaurant in the hotel is very expensive and breakfast at 10 euros per person is also expensive for what you get. The staff are polite and welcoming.
