Wellcoming smile, room ready, just what you want when you have been travelling. ... Nice placce to stay for a long weekend. Our room could have used a listtle more storage space (Drawers) ... Ideal weekend hotel. Good price in qood location that is central. All main attractions of Nice are within reasonable walking distance.
The weather was awful and we still enjoyed our stay

The guy at the reception on arrival was very helpful as were all the others during our stay. Liked the idea of tea & coffee all day in the lounge area. ... Hotel was very central, near the train station and very quiet at night ... Our bill was ready for us the morning of departure. I certainly would recommend Hotel Aria to my friends when travelling to Nice. ... The main thing would be the location is perfect for shops, restaurants and connections by train to Monaco, Grass and Cannes. ...
Very good value for money, clean and quite. Staff very obliging.

Very nice hotel, close to the Massena(only few minuts walk, ask for the shortest way!!) and the train station.

Great staff, very helpful. The staff at the desk helped with restaurant choices as well as some local transportation information.

I can honestly say that we have never had a more helpful or polite receptionist as we found upon our arrival at Hotel Aria. His friendliness and helpfulness were exceptional. ... The old-style elevator was a definite favorite of the children! The junior suite fit our family of 5 quite well, given European standards. ... Charming, old-world hotel with convenient location, an incredibly helpful and friendly staff, and junior suites large enough to accomodate a family of 5, a rarity in France!

EXCEPTIONALLY WARM, WELCOME, AND POLITE. We arrived about 10:00am fully (and agreeably) expecting that our room may not be available until late afternoon. Instead, the receptionist indicated that the room would be ready in about 30 minutes, stored our bags, and invited us to to have coffee. Couldn't be better after a long overnight flight!!!!! Wonderful. ... Elevator. Location is excellent for all of Nice. Mozart Park accross the street beautiful. Parking garage accross the street very handy. Walking distance from train station allows use of the bus from the airport with only a very short walk to the hotel saves expense of cab fare from the airport. ... Exceptional value. Extremely clean. Very friendly.

Hotel was a good value, very pleasant and in a safe and convenient neighborhood located facing a beautiful park. Room was a nice size and quite suitable for a few nights stay. Hotel was clean and well maintained. When I had a problem, it was quickly addressed. Staff was polite, efficient and some were multi-lingual. ... I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to a friend.

The room was nice. The carpet was a little old, but the rest of it made up for it. We had actual A/C which was really nice. We also had a cute balcony that overlooked the park. ... I would say it a well run hotel that is close to the train station. It is a decent value for a hotel in Nice. I would recommend it as a place to stay.

It would have helped to have had more detailed directions. We didn't know how long we were supposed to drive through Nice from the thoroughfare to the area where the hotel was. ... The room, although fairly clean, was not big at all, and I wouldn't say that it would be a romantic room (we had a suite) for a couple. It was too small and didn't really have any furniture other than beds. The hotel and breakfast room were very 'sunny' as you say, but our room was not. Also, we had to pay for any access to the internet. ... You have to pay for an orange card in order to access the internet. Also, our car was too big for the garage across the street, so we had to park in a garage further down the street, which wasn't a big deal. ... The hotel was cute, the breakfast and breakfast room were great, the staff was very warm and helpful, but our room was small and barebones. Except for our bathtub, which was very nice!!!

Th room on the second floor was better and bigger than the one we had on the fourth floor, and were charged at same price. ... Both the hotel and the Booking Agents were very helpful and co-operative with regard to the late cancellation of one room due to sudden illness of one member of our proposed group. ... Good location, between beach and rail station with pleasant outlook onto parkland square.

The hotel is small and easy to miss so pay attention to the address number. Also, Nice seems to have a canine dropping problem on their hands (or the sole of their shoes) Watch where you step for there are dog droppings all over the sidewalks in this town. The man at the front desk seemed annoyed that I arrived early and said 'you are early, naturally your room is not ready.' The lobby area smelled of smoke as the clerk was smoking in the small office behind the check in desk. ... The room was great and had a balcony overlooking a small park across the street. Others have mentioned a problem with the water pressure but I was on the 2nd level and found no such problem. I really enjoyed my stay and wish I could have stayed there longer. ... The hotel did attempt to charge me the regular rate when I checked out but when I showed them a copy of the voucher, they charged the agreed amount. So BRING YOUR VOUCHER WITH YOU. ... The elevator/lift is more of a dumbwaiter than an elevator/lift. It fits 1 person with a small bag or 2 people with no bags. It is very easy to miss as it looks like a gated closet. (Also, I thought that the 2.50 Euro was a bit much for a 4 oz cut of hot water for my thera-flu) ... This is a small hotel with great rooms. I would stay here again. The location is great. Just a 20 minute busride from the airport (get off at the train station stop)and a 10 minute walk (uphill) to the train station.

Overall we were very happy with our stay at the Hotel Aria. Regarding question 8 relating to the quality of the rooms I would have given a rating of very good except for the fact that the bathroom floor had not been cleaned properly after the previous guest.
