Profile

Located in the heart of the old town, the newly renovated Beau Rivage is only a few steps away from the sea, the Opera House and the famous Cours Saleya flower market.

The architect plans include an artist feel with photographs and hints to artists, offering
a tribute to the old city of Nice, to the hotel history and its private beach where you can enjoy relaxing on a sun-bed or dine in the sea-front restaurant from April to October.

In 2003, the hotel located in the old neighbourhood of Nice underwent a full-scale renovation under the supervision of Jean-Michel Wilmotte.

The famous French architect wished to
recreate the atmosphere that made this place successful throughout the years and appealing to the most demanding artists and celebrities of the time, among which Matisse, Fitzgerald and Tchekov.

"Local feel and modernity" were the two words the architect had in mind: design a stylish hotel with a lot of character, give it a modern edge while keeping in line with its local and artist history.

Behind a 19th century façade, you will find an
innovative architecture, contemporary design and sleek decoration which give the hotel Beau Rivage a specifically Southern warmth thanks to the use of shingle and wood.

Comfortable armchairs to rest in, flat TV screens, bathrooms inlaid with shingle_ To satisfy the demand a clientele of both tourists and businessmen, the rooms and suites were refurbished with notions of high-end, comfort, modernity and functionality in mind. Wood and linen add to the warmth of artist photographs and shutters "à la niçoise".

Every detail has been specially well thought: natural light flowing into the bathrooms, private dressings in the suites, soft lights, as well as broadband and Wi-Fi connections, and a large selection of video on demand. The new rooms offer a discrete high-end luxury for you to feel comfortable while relaxing or working in a functional environment.

A glance at the lobby will let you see the extend of the renovation. The hall, bar and restaurant now present a subtle association of audacity and tradition. Stone is an omnipresent material, highlighted by wooden inserts in the restaurant and big pictures on the walls in the bar.

For business meetings,
a new conference space has been created and equipped with modern technology.
