From my experience in Italy 3 stars hotels
are better there.
In France as I know from other friends the
quality of 3 stars hotel is not good.

The rooms don't have quality at all.
The common place,reception,buffet,Internet
are quite well.

As we were driving, it would have been beneficial to have had clearer instructions on how to get there. Also, very difficult to stop outside hotel to unload bags.

I enquired about my Mother's wheelchair and I received a message saying it would be OK. We were given a room near the lift on the first floor which was fine. However, I feel it should have been mentioned that there were 6 steps leading up to the reception which Mother had to climb ( lucky that she could get up them ) What would have happened if she could not have got up the stairs? I could not have lifted her as I am female and only 59 Kilos and I would not want to injure my back. The staff were helpful and at least one of the receptionists lifted the wheelchair down the steps for me. Again, I was able to do this alone but could have been a weaker or older person who could not lift a wheelchair up a flight of steps.

I was aware that there were similar hotels around which charged less. I especially thought that the breakfasts were expensive considering other hotels were offering breakfast for 5 or 6 Euro wheras we were charged 9.5 Euros each.
