 The Golf Hotel de Valescure is situated in Saint-Raphaël, between Cannes (30 km) and Saint-Tropez (35km), at about 5 km from the town center. The Hotel is located close to the Esterel hills in a beaufitul pine forest area and surrounded by the centenary Valescure Golf Course. In the area you will visit the ancient roman town of Fréjus, and walk among the red rocks of the Esterel, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. |
Coming by car:
from all directions take A8 motorway, exit n°38 (Fréjus-Saint-Raphaël). From the exit of the motorway take in the direction of Saint-Raphaël. You have to pass by the Hospital (follow the signs "Centre Hospitalier", with a red cross). After the hospital (Hôpital Bonnet), you arrive at a roundabout in which you go straight ahead in the direction of Valescure. Drive straight on for approx. 3 kilometers and go through two others roundabouts (Dumbéa and Alphonse Karr)still in the direction of Valescure and "les golfs". Then you arrive to another crossroads called "carrefour des Anglais". Take the third road in the roundabout in the direction of Agay or Cannes par Valescure and you will arrive in Avenue du Colonel Brooke. Drive along this street for 3 km and you will arrive at a little shopping center, pass by and go ahead in the direction on "Valescure old course". You will find the hotel after 500 m on the left hand-side.
Coming by plane:
The nearest airport is "Nice Cote d'Azur" (65 km). Once there our guests can take a S.V.A (Société Varoise d'Autocars Beltrame) bus up to St.Raphael centre (there is a bus every day every 3 h). Once at St Raphael centre we suggest our guests to reach us catching a taxi.
Coming by train:
St.Raphael railway station is at 5 km far from us. Once there our guests can reach us in 10 min. catching a taxi. |
