Hotel Gounod is located in the center of Nice, just a short walk away from the famous "Promenade des Anglais" and the beach. In the immediate surroundings there are lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Nice railway station is at approx. 400 meters far from us. |
Coming by Car
From West
A8 Highway, taxe exit Nice Centre-Promenade des Anglais. Drive all straight on along this boulevard and just after the Hotel Negresco, turn left at traffic light. You will see our sign "Gounod Hotel". Follow the Meyerbeer street until main Boulevard called "Victor-Hugo". After the traffic light you will see the hotel on the left hand side.
From East
A8 Motorway, taxe exit Nice Centre-Promenade des Anglais. Just after the Casino Palais de la Mediterranée , turn right and take Meyerber street untile the main boulevard called "Victor Hugo". You will see our sign "Gounod Hotel". Follow the Meyerbeer street until main boulevard Victor-Hugo. After the traffic light you will see the hotel on the left hand side.
Coming by Plane
From Nice airport you can reach the hotel by bus; there is a yellow bus marked "Nice direct" which is on your left when you come out of terminal 1, on your right out of terminal 2; ask for the "Meyerbeer" stop which is just after the Negresco hotel alongside the sea; when getting out of the bus, facing inland, you will see the "rue Meyerbeer" on your left: take this street and walk up to Boulevard Victor Hugo. You will find the hotel on the left hand side.
Coming by Train
From Nice SNCF railway station you can reach us by taxi or on foot; if you decide to reach us on foot you have just to cross the street, turn right and walk for few metres; you will find Boulevard Victor Hugo on your left; take this street, walk all straight on in direction of the sea side and you will find the hotel on the right hand side. |
