Restaurant Le Grimaldi offers a gastronomic experience with fresh and creative ideas from our chefs. In summer lunch and dinners are served on the terrace overlooking the square and the valley with magnificent sunset views, framed by beautiful plants and a lightning of candles and torches. The terrace offers up to 48 covers. In winter the restaurant offers 28 covers inside in a warm, inviting and tastefully decorated room featuring changing exhibitions from local artists.

Our Chef de Cuisine, Franck Manenq, and Chef de Partie, Daniel Constable, will be your guide in discovering all the culinary richness and products which makes the Provence a very special place. Both chefs have excellent experience and specialise in blending traditional cooking with modern tastes and presentation. There is nothing better to complement a meal than an excellent bottle of wine. Hence we offer a wide selection of wines not only from the Provence, but also from other regions of France and the world. We extend a warm and personal welcome to all our guests and look forward to having the pleasure of your company to enjoy our culinary offerings.

The village of Haut de Cagnes like so many in the south of France was home to a famous painter - Auguste Renoir. His house and atelier, now a museum, has stayed virtually unchanged since his death. Other famous residents include Suzie Solidor and many more. In the 1950`s/60`s the village was a much frequented hangout for celebrities (wishing to shun the limelight of Cannes and Monte Carlo) with small bars and cosy jazz clubs. Today that status is making a comeback with many restaurants offering a broad choice of cuisines and ratings. Soon to be open is a jazz club in the heart of the village square.
