We travelled with a small child (3 years old) who was welcomed warmly and made to feel comfortable and at home for the week we stayed at this hotel. While I wouldn't consider the hotel 'child-proof' (it had many beautiful objects about and candles lit everywhere) we never felt as though they were waiting for our daughter to break something or watching her carefully. On the contrary, they went out of their way to find things she could play with and enjoy - like the poor kitty who I'm sure was glad to see us leave.

This was a beautiful, small hotel. The experience was very personal. The owner spent time helping us to prepare day trips in the area. Each afternoon when we arrived back at the hotel we were greeted at the door and provided with a warm welcome and hospitable service. The atmosphere is both welcoming and refined. We would go back again and again.
