From Nice airport: drive in direction of Cannes, Aix en Provence by the motorway A8, take the exit "Le Muy/ St Tropez".
From Aix en Provence (Paris): Take the motorway in direction of Cannes, Nice. Take the exit "Le Muy/St Tropez".
From the exit "Le Muy": Take RN 98, direction Saint-Tropez via Sainte-Maxime Then follow the direction of Sainte-Maxime (Le Muy-Ste Maxime: 20 Km). Drive through Sainte-Maxime in following the direction of St Tropez (approx 15 Km). At the entrance of St Tropez, at the first traffic lights, turn right in direction of: 'Ramatuelle, les Plages' then continue straight on for about 2 km. Turn left in direction of "Tahiti Road La Garbine and Château de la Messardière". Follow the road, turn the first street on your right side which is "Chemin de St Amé" (very narrow street) then straight till the end of the "Chemin". Turn right and you will see immediately the Château de la Messardiere on your left hand side.
Coming by air: the nearest airport is Toulon-Hyeres (55 km). From there drive towards Hyères on the N98, then continue towards Bormes-les-Mimosas. Before Le Lavandou, keep left on the N98 and head for La Môle (15 km). Follow as above from La Mole exit. There is also a small, private aerodrome at La Môle (15 km). |
