Creative cuisine for fine palates
In front to the sea, the restaurant «Le Padouk» invites you to appreciate its elegant room, its marvellous terrace while tasting its subtle mixtures of Mediterranean savours. On the poolside panoramic terrace, gourmets will relish the specialities of this new restaurant, and its new chef, Bruno Sohn. In a refined and elegant atmosphere, where dark wood decorative features provide a pleasant exotic touch, guests will discover his original cuisine, a subtle alchemy of Mediterranean and oriental flavours.

Facing the swimming pool, the Pingala Bar is open all day from 11am until midnight, with musical environment throughout the day and Piano Bar starting from 6pm; enjoy the lounge atmosphere and the sound of the piano comfortably settled in large sofas. With its warm colours and its touch of zen spirit, the Pingala Bar is a haven of well being which will satisfy small appetites with light and stylish cuisine.. The head Barman Alberto will offer you home made "Specials" prepared in individual mini shakers. In addition to its original cocktails, he proposes its specialties «around the Mediterranean».

Meeting rooms for demanding Managers
On the 3rd floor of the Palais de la Méditerranée, companies and event seminar and convention organisers will find all the facilities they need: 5 conference and banqueting rooms covering a total 500 m². Naturally lit, in an elegant, original setting, these smart rooms have a reception capacity of up to 330 people in cocktail functions and 250 in meeting configurations. To round off this business offer, the casino has an 850 m² auditorium and a 400 m² meeting room fitted with hi-tech audiovisual equipment and functional and comfortable facilities. The proximity to the international airport and all the commodities provided by the capital of the French Riviera and above all the unique and enchanting setting of the Palais de la Méditerranée make it a new reference for incentive stay and event organisation.

Sun worship or fitness
The vast pool, heated all year long and surrounded by parasols, provides the centrepiece for guests who are invited to indulge in moments of intense relaxation. For a more dynamic stay, they can use the large fitness room, Turkish baths and ultramodern cardio-training equipment.

Artistic emotions and the thrill of gambling
Another major asset of the Palais is the large auditorium which plays host to a vast array of artists. The opening of the magnificent casino in June 2004 gave life to this temple of gaming. Taking a determindely "southern" decorative option, the Palais de la Méditerranée's Casino is favourable to relaxation and strong emotions. With its sumptuous mahogany tables, the Casino offers also the latest innovations and technology developed by the Partouche Group, the leader Casino group in Europe.

The drawing power of the Palais is intimately linked to that of "Nissa lo Bella" and the French Riviera. Is there any other region in the world capable of offering such a vast array of historic, artistic, cultural and natural riches? 300 days of sun per year, the Mediterranean as the formidable backdrop, the opportunity to try out a wide range of leisure activities - golf on superb greens, hiking in the sumptuous setting of the southern Alps, skiing in the winter, sailing and yachting all year long...

And just a stone's throw away from the Palais de la Méditerranée, guests con
enjoy the various facets of Nice: the back streets and picturesque squares of the old town, the flower market and pavement restaurants of the bright Cours Saleya, tasting of local delicacies or escapades into the Nice hinterland... It is the ideal place to get away from it all and experience an authentic lifestyle while enjoying the opportunity of staying in the most legendary establishment on the French Riviera.

Nice is very proud of its turbulent past; it preserves its heritage and its language - the nissart -, it
asserts its culinary art and celebrates the traditional feasts, such as Carnival, Battles of flowers, the Cougourdons feast, the May feast, the renewal of vows, the Vineyard feast, the Saint Peter's feast or the Saint Jean feast. The traditional element which is the most federative of the local population, is the Nissart, still very used and learnt by the young people. It is a complete tongue; vocabulary, grammar and syntax are structuring it. This dialect, originated in the Langue d'oc, kept away from the French and Italian influences is looked upon as very conservative. To speak the Nissart in festive time is not only a custom but a reflex.
