Staff were welcoming and kindly had our rooms ready before the time we could normally have checked in. The only cricism we have is that we asked for 1 twin and 1 double and they gave us two doubles. The beds were remade as soon as we asked. ... We had a wonderful holiday. ALL staff were friendly, helpful and professional. ... Talk more about the fabulous views, the gorgeous terrace, the excellent food and the amazingly friendly staff. ... The perfect way to spend a few days with the family. Everything we could wish for was there. We were treated as honoured guests throughout our stay. The hotel is in an ideal position; near to the city but far enough away to provide peace and quiet and wonderful views.

We really enjoyed our room with the large terrase. I would definitely stay at La Perouse again. ... Views Views Views.
I also liked the location very much. My only criticism is that I didn't think the breakfast in the room was worth the money. I wouldn't order it again. ... As above.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. ... Could do with a few more stations on the TV. Would be even better if the jacuzzi was open earlier than 9am and the outdoor pool was heated into the winter. ... Very friendly helpful staff in a comfortable, beautiful and relaxing hotel, in a convenient location.

People at the front desk were very friendly and helpful.
We had the quality of room we expected, but we had a corner room and so had a beautiful view out of two windows. ... The cost of our room was very expensive relative to hotel rooms in Canada, but we know that for that location and that hotel, it was reasonable.
We wished we had a few more nights there and time to enjoy the pool, beach, etc. ... A bit 'quirky' but wonderful. By quirky I mean the elevator system (you take an elevator up past a few floors, get out, walk down the hall and get to another elevator to finish going up to your floor. Also the fact that when you look from the street, you can't see it because it's tucked behind another hotel and you can only see a couple of windows popping out at the top - doesn't look connected to the entry at ground level. That was no matter; it was just kind of fun. We loved our views of the water and also the beautiful bay and beach at Nice. It was also nice to be right by the Chateau and the gardens above. The rooms were clean and bright, bathrooms were very good, the staff was great - we would highly recommend this hotel in Nice.
