the hotel owner came out to my rental car and helped me with a problem i was having with shifting it into reverse.he also helped with the baggage and conducted a quick and pleasant check-in. ... the hotel's location was ideal.the garden entrance,even though most of the flowers were not in bloom,was very beautiful and welcoming.the building itself was very charming and had the 'provence' look.as good as all that was,it was far surpased by the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners and all the staff.it could not have been a more pleasant stay. ... just one - we did'nt want to !! ... the absolute friendliness of the owners and staff. ... just as i did in this review and i would highly recommend it!

If you look for a centrally located but still quiet little and charming hôtel in the centre of Cannes, go to Hôtel de Provence. The hospitality of the owner family and staff is excellent and let you feel 'at home'. The garden area will attract you to relax or to enjoy a card game even until late night. Very good value for your money!

The single room (lst floor) was satisfactory except for the outside noise late night due to the proximity of the elevator and guests who are not considerate of others already sleeping when returning late at night. ... Very friendly and clean but not to quiet and a little dark... (for the particular room I staid in).
