 Many guests at La Rivolte enjoy simply lazing by the swimming pool or relaxing on the terrace enjoying the beautiful views. We have a large jade green heated swimming pool (5.5m x 12m) with several wooden sun loungers along the paved pool area where there is also a pergola for shade in the summer. There is a ping-pong table on the terrace and a badminton net on the olive terraces behind the villa. A temporamental miniature railway runs from the kitchen to the swimming pool and on good days can carry drinks! We can, however, offer massage and reflexology and also, for rentals, we can provide an excellent chef. |
 We have Satellite TV offering Sky news channels, movies, sports channels and kids channels. We have an X-Box games console which also plays DVDs and also a VCR. There is a piano in one of the salons and a large games cupboard. We have a wide selection of videos and DVDs. There is a payphone for guests which also takes incoming calls. The library contains a large selection of novels, guidebooks on the area and maps for driving and hiking. |

 Grasse is famous for its perfume and as well as the national museum of perfume, guests can also visit the 3 main perfume houses located in Grasse: Fragonard, Molinard and Galimard. Free guided tours are offered of the perfumeries and there are also shops offering beautiful gift-wrapped products. Fragonard also has a costume museum. There is a also the Villa-Musée Fragonard, the museum of the 18th century artist, located in the villa where he and his family once lived. There is also a theatre and a casino in Grasse. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance of the villa and a large variety of shops. Other museums in the region include the Picasso Museum located in the Grimaldi château in Antibes, the Fondation Maeght in St. Paul de Vence, the Matisse museum in Nice and Renoir's house in Cagnes sur Mer. There are many excellent restaurants in the area. The best known is the Bastide St. Antoine in Grasse run by the 2 star Michelin chef, Jacques Chibois. There is also the Moulin de Mougins, the Clos St. Pierre in Le Rouret and the Relais des Coches in Tourrettes sur Loup. Nice, Antibes and Cannes are excellent for shopping and there is the large shopping centre, Cap 3000 near Nice airport.
There are several excellent golf courses nearby: St. Donat, Grasse Country Club, Mougins, the Grande Bastide at Opio, Château Taulane, Mandelieu. |
